In 2015, a small group of visionary professionals gathered with a shared goal: to empower and elevate women and men within the nuclear field at the Savannah River Site. From that humble beginning, the Savannah River Site Women in Nuclear (SRS-WIN) chapter was founded, providing a dedicated space for networking, professional development, and community outreach.

Now, as we celebrate our 10th anniversary, we reflect on a decade of remarkable growth and achievement. What began with fewer than 20 members has blossomed into a thriving chapter of more than 500 members. We have become a driving force in advocating for our shared goals, including providing opportunities for nuclear professionals to develop leadership skills, network, and provide public education outreach to the Central Savannah River Area about the benefits of nuclear science,  technology, environmental stewardship, clean energy, and national security.

As we look toward the future, we are inspired by the progress we have made and the endless possibilities that lie ahead. The next 10 years will undoubtedly bring new challenges, but with the foundation of support and empowerment we have built together, we are ready to face them. Here's to a decade of success and many more years of building a brighter, more inclusive future for the nuclear industry.
