Born and raised in Sugarland TX. I Joined the Marine Corps at 19. Two enlistments from 2001-2010. Operation Enduring Freedom x2, Operation Iraqi Freedom x1. Utilized the skillset developed to transition to Department of Defense work aboard N.A.S. Patuxent River MD supporting the joint strike fighter, then moved down to M.C.A.S. Beaufort to assist in standing up the VMFAT-501 F35B training squadron. I put my resume out on Monster or Indeed and got an interview with the lab manager of Savannah River Standards Lab at the time, and the rest is history.
